Cut – short, back and sides for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Please help me raise funds for two significant causes.

I have been growing my hair for many years. I can’t believe it, but I’ve decided to chop off my long hair and dye it.

My name is Aiden. I am 14 years old and have Autism. I started to grow my hair because cutting it was extremely traumatic for me. The sound of the scissors and clippers would send me off into a very uncomfortable place. Cutting my hair will be extremely challenging for me.

All money raised will go directly to a charity called FearLess – Post Traumatic Stress Australia and NZ. FearLess is a charity that works with people living with the consequences of post-traumatic stress, often referred to as PTSD.

My hair will be donated to an organisation that makes wigs for people who have suffered hair loss from medical conditions such as alopecia, trichotillomania and long-term hair loss from cancer.

I understand the last few years have been very challenging for so many people, especially those who have PTSD. My family and I would value your support for this cause as it’s very close to our hearts. We have a family history of war and trauma-related PTSD, and it would mean a great deal to me if you would support my cause.

I have three targets to reach;
1. Once I reach $2,500, I will cut 10cm off my hair.
2. For an extra $500 (so when I reach $3,000), I will cut 20cm off my hair.
3. If I achieve over $3500, I will dye it with bright colours and cut it very short. I hope I can handle this.

At first, my end goal was to reach $4000.00! and I DID! I’m super excited to have received so much generosity from my family, friends and community. Thank YOU!

I have increased my goal to $6000.00 – wow

It would be very much appreciated if you could support me in raising funds for this significant cause.

Thank you
From Aiden
