Chris is a skilled professional with 15 years’ experience in senior executive roles within a variety of complex and diverse national organisations including Surf Life Saving Australia and National Disability Services. With a demonstrated record as a solid and inclusive leader, Chris has been responsible for transformational change, building skills and relationships in multi-stakeholder environments, and has sound corporate governance, financial and human resource management expertise. He is motivated to deliver sustainable change in organisations that delivers greater organisational impact, strong business discipline and commercial acumen. A notable success of Chris’s career to date was the establishment of the “On the Same Wave” program following the 2005 Cronulla riots. The program supports young Australians of all backgrounds to have a full beach experience, and to engage with Surf Life Saving on a national level. As CEO of Kookaburra Kids, Chris is committed to building upon the strong foundations built over time and continue to grow the organisation strategically and sustainably in order to service more kids in more places across Australia and grow awareness of the importance of early intervention for kids living in homes affected by Mental Illness.
