Mel Armstrong-Jones is founder of Brave Humanity which endevours to share information and assist sufferers of PTSD. She is a corporate team facilitator and global yoga teacher. She has 15+ years in Senior Human Resource positions in banking, finance and television/ media. She has written and organised sold out mental health community events for Berkelouw Books, RUOK and Harmony Peace Days. Mel has recently trained at altitude solely and climbed Machu Pichu in Peru to raise funds for United Nations Women National Committee for programs for women and children living through or after war, child marriage and escaping human trafficking or domestic violence. She has researched and written a book about PTSD and global trauma which will be published in December 2019. Mel has spoken regarding health and yoga for veterans in Vietnam and also at Mind Body festivals. At national Human Resource leadership conferences Mel has spoken regarding mental hygiene and the importance of work life balance. Mel’s creation of a 3 step process to peace for individuals is simple to follow and she will share this. Mel has been an avid health opinion writer, corporate facilitator, keynote speaker, focused on mental health well-being and post-traumatic stress disorder. She works with organisations and conferences to raise the profile of the solutions for mental health hygiene in the workplace and community addressing healthy solutions.
